As per reports, the health authorities have stated that there is a significant rise in the number of dengue cases. Around 360 cases have been recorded between 01-13 May. Bangalore reported over 570 cases in the month of April.

In the initial months of 2024, the city reported around 257 to 315 dengue cases.
