As per reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued warnings and watches for tornadoes in parts of Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, and Tennessee on Wednesday (08 May).
At 1517 hours (local time), a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located eight miles north of Shelby, or near Fallston, moving east at 30 mph.

• The regions placed under a tornado warning are Southwestern Lincoln, Central Cleveland, and Northwestern Gaston Counties. The warning is valid until 1545 hours (local time). The conditions are favourable for further warnings to be issued.
