As per the forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the following weather conditions are expected in Uttarakhand.

• Friday (26 April): yellow alerts for strong surface winds in Uddham Singh Nagar, Pauri Garhwa, Dehradun and Haridwar.
• Saturday (27 April): yellow alerts for thunderstorms, lightning and strong surface winds have been issued in all districts excluding Tehri Garhwal, Almora, Champawat and Nainital.
• Sunday (28 April): yellow alerts for thunderstorms, lightning and strong surface winds have been issued in all districts.
