As per reports, farmers represented by the Union des Producteurs Agricoles (UPA) organized a protest involving a convoy of tractors that rallied through the streets of Vaudreuil-Dorion, west of Montreal on Wednesday (10 April). Additional protests are planned in the Outaouais-Laurentides region on Thursday (11 April).

Opposition parties, including Quebec Solidaire (QS), the Liberal Party (PLQ), and the Parti Québécois (PQ), are also calling on the government to take proactive measures to support struggling farmers.
