As per reports, moderate thunderstorms along with hailstorms and strong winds were witnessed in the neighborhoods of Cairo including Mohandessin, Downtown, and October through Monday (18 March).

Heavy rainfall was also reported in the Menoufia Governorate and the Fayoum Governorate.
