As per reports, a magnitude 5.3 earthquake has been recorded at about six kilometers southwest of Semisopochnoi Island, western Aleutian Islands, Alaska at 0650 hours (local time) on Wednesday (28 February).
• The earthquake has been recorded at a shallow depth of 119 km.
• The earthquake occurred at a distance of 56 km northeast of Amchitka, 81 km east of Little Sitkin Pass, and 84 km east of Davidof Island.
