According to reports, the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) has announced scheduled power outages on Thursday (29 February) and Friday (01 March) to complete necessary electrical maintenance and upgrade works.
The power interruptions will impact various streets in Manila, including Hermosa Street from San Juan Street to Javier Street, and will extend to Benita, Tomas, Patricia, Guillermo, Ricardo, and Clemente Streets in Tondo.
• On Thursday (29 February), the power interruptions will be conducted in phases:
• Initially, from 1201 hours to 0600 hours, affecting parts of Magsaysay Boulevard and surrounding areas.
• A brief interruption from 0530 hours to 0600 hours will impact parts of Victorino Mapa Street, Road 2, and adjacent streets.
• Another outage is scheduled from 0830 hours to 0900 hours, affecting parts of Tomas Mapua and Anacleto Streets, Rizal Avenue, and surrounding areas.
