As per reports, a three-alarm residential fire occurred at 62-53 60th Road near Fresh Pond Road and Mount Olivet Crescent in Maspeth, Queens before noon on Monday (19 February). Five civilians and two firefighters responding to the scene were injured.
• Reports indicate that the crews responded to the flames on the second and third floors of the home along 62-53 60th Road. The fire also spread to an adjacent building, quickly increasing into a three-alarm fire that had 140 firefighters responding.
• Hazmat teams were reportedly called to the scene to investigate the possibility of lithium batteries being involved in the fire.
