As per reports, a heavy police presence has been reported due to a shooting incident recorded as of the morning hours of Tuesday (30 January) at 7575 Annapolis Road in West Lanham Hills in Prince George’s County, Maryland. One person was killed, and two police officers were wounded in the incident.

• According to the police chief, the shooting happened around 0500 hours local time.
• Police stated that officers struck one suspect, and the person was taken into custody. However, around 0800 hours local time, officers announced that the suspect has died.
• Officers from Prince George’s County Police, the DC Metropolitan Police Department and the US Marshals Service were present in the aforementioned location during the area early hours on Tuesday (30 January).
• Additional information about the suspect or the cause of the shooting incident is not known as of yet. The shooting investigation remains active and ongoing.
