According to reports, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan staged an unexpected sit-in protest on the roadside at Nilamel in Kollam district on Saturday (27 January) against the police’s alleged failure to prevent a Student Federation of India (SFI) black flag demonstration at his motorcade.
He further rejected the State Police Chief’s (SPC) request to continue his journey and demanded a copy of the police’s first information report (FIR) against the students.
