Power disruptions reported in Tijuana, Mexicali, and Playas de Rosarito from Monday (22 January)

As per reports, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) has confirmed disruptions in the electricity supply to Tijuana, Mexicali, and Playas de Rosarito, impacting approximately 52,000 users since Monday (22 January).

• Affected areas include the Cárdenas neighborhood in Playas de Tijuana and the Camino Verde neighborhood in the East Zone of Tijuana. In Playas de Rosarito, the Constitución, Nuevo Milenio, and Lucio Blanco neighborhoods are affected, while Mexicali experiences a city-wide disruption.
• Despite ongoing efforts by CFE personnel to restore service, no specific timeframe for resolution has been provided.
