As per reports, Morocco’s General Directorate of Meteorology (DMN) issued warnings for inclement weather conditions characterized by snowfall and strong winds in parts of Morocco on Friday (05 January).
• Strong winds are expected in the provinces of Taourirt, Berkane, Nador, Guercif, Figuig, Jerada, Driouch, Sefrou, Boulmane, Taza, Kenitra, Ouarzazate, Midelt and Tinghir.
• In Ifrane province, snowfall exceeding 1700 metres is anticipated.
• Boulmane, Guercif, Taza, Sefrou and Midelt, Larache, Tangier-Asilah, Ouazzane, Tetouan, Sidi Kacem and Kenitra are likely to experience extreme rainfall.
