Shelter-in-place order issued around Iowa school due to shooting incident on Thursday (04 January)

As per reports, police authorities responded to an active shooter situation in Perry High School, about 25 miles from Des Moines, Iowa at about 0900 hours local time on Thursday (04 January).

• The streets surrounding the school are currently blocked off as police conduct their investigation. Reports are circulating that the suspect is down with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, however, this has not yet been confirmed by authorities.
• Multiple ambulances were reported entering and leaving the school grounds. Number of casualties are yet to be confirmed.
• As per reports, a shelter-in-place order has been imposed on the area. The school is currently on lockdown.
