As per reports, the Polish army announced on Tuesday (02 January) that it had activated four F-16 fighters and an allied tanker aircraft to monitor the border with Ukraine, following Russian bombings in the neighboring country.

During the airstrikes by Russia on Ukraine on Friday (29 December), Poland stated that a Russian missile had passed through its airspace and remained there for three minutes.
