As per reports, Météo France has issued orange and yellow alerts for strong winds affecting large parts of France on Sunday (31 December).

Strong winds of upto 90 to 100 kilometers per hour (km/h) inland and up to 120 km/h along the coast are expected.

• An orange alert has been issued for Côtes d’Armor, Morbihan and Finistère.
• Yellow alerts for the disruptive conditions have been issued for 64 departments in the northern and central regions of France. Details of all the affected regions can be accessed on the interactive map on the Météo France website (https://vigilance.meteofrance.fr/fr/demain).
