As per reports, the Tornado and Storm Research Organisation (TORRO) has issued an alert for tornadoes expected through the evening hours of Saturday (30 December) until 0600 hours (local time) on Sunday (31 December).

Isolated tornadoes are expected in Central and southern Ireland, Wales, northern England, Midlands, east Anglia, southern England, and the Channel Islands. Winds are expected to reach 70 miles per hour (mph)
