Flight diverted to Yekaterinburg after sudden cancellation on Thursday (27 August)

As per reports, Nesma Airlines Boeing 747 flight from Sharm el-Sheikh to Moscow made an unscheduled landing at Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg after flight NE 644 was canceled on Thursday (27 August).

• Passengers have been accommodated at the Koltsovo airport, but the flight’s future status remains unclear.
• Prosecutor’s office staff traveled to the airport to personally receive citizen complaints and investigate the cause of the incident.
