As per a press release issued by Lucknow Traffic Police, the following traffic diversions have been announced across Lucknow for the procession on account of Milad-un-Nabi on Wednesday (26 August).
• The Madh-E-Sahaba procession will start at 1000 hours IST on Wednesday (26 August) from Jhanda Wale Park in Aminabad. It will pass through the old city and conclude at Eidgah Aishbagh. A large gathering focusing on Seerat-un-Nabi and Seerat-e-Sahaba will also be organised at Eidgah Lucknow.
• Traffic diversions will come into effect from 0700 hours IST on Wednesday (26 August).
• Traffic coming from Kamala Nehru Crossing (Charak Chauraha) will not be able to go towards Nakkhas Tiraha via Mayfair Tiraha Victoria Street, instead it will be able to go to its destination via Traffic Chowk/Medical College.
• No traffic will be allowed from Nakkhas Tiraha towards Nadan Mahal Road/Tudiyaganj; instead it will be allowed to proceed to its destination via Akbari Gate, Charak Chauraha.
• Normal traffic will not be able to go from Tudiyaganj Tiraha towards Nakhas Tiraha, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Girdhari Singh Inter College, Mansoor Nagar.
• Normal traffic will not be able to go from Tudiyaganj Tiraha towards Haiderganj Tiraha, instead it will turn back from there and go to its destination via Girdhari Singh College.
• From Haiderganj Tiraha, normal traffic will not be able to go towards Nakhas Tiraha Aishbagh Eidgah, rather this traffic will go to its destination via Bulaki Adda, Mill Area.
• Movement of normal traffic from Water Works Tiraha towards Aishbagh Idgah Tiraha will remain restricted.
• General traffic from Medical College Square via Subhash Marg will not be able to go towards Rakabganj Brdige, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via City Station Tiraha Shahmina.
• General traffic from post office (Aminabad) intersection will not be able to go towards Rakabganj bridge via Maulviganj, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Aminabad/Nazirabad via Chhatri intersection.
• Normal traffic will not be able to go towards Aminabad from Raktabganj bridge , instead it will go to its destination via this traffic check post and medical college.
• No traffic from Kaiserbagh Bus Stand , Guin Road Tiraha, Nazirabad Tiraha and Aminabad Square will be allowed to go towards Jhanda Wale Park, instead this traffic will be allowed to go to its destination via Kaiserbagh, Ashoklat, Shriram Road, Amindabad City Station.
• No vehicle will be allowed to proceed towards Aishbagh Idgah from the side of the bridge, instead the traffic will be able to proceed to its destination via Moti Nagar, Rajendra Nagar from under the bridge.
• No traffic will be allowed to proceed from Bulaki Adda towards Haiderganj (Lalmadhav) Tiraha; instead this traffic will proceed from Bulaki Adda towards Tikaitrai Talab/Mill Area. Traffic going from Mill Area Tiraha to Haiderganj will not be able to proceed towards Haiderganj, instead this traffic will proceed to its destination via Mill Area, Meena Bakery and Rajajipun.
• No traffic will be allowed to proceed towards Aishbagh Eidgah from Rajendra Nagar Square, instead the traffic will be allowed to proceed to its destination via Moti Nagar/Rajendra Nagar.
• No vehicle will be allowed to travel from Naka Chauraha via Rajendra Nagar towards Aishbagh Bridge Idgah, instead this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Natha/Mawaiya.
• No vehicle from Naka Chauraha will be able to go towards Rakabganj Bridge via Pandeyganj Chowki, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Bansmandi Chauraha / Rajendra Nagar.
• General traffic from Phool Mandi flyover will not be able to go towards Haiderganj Tiraha, rather this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Victoria Street (Kamala Nehru) intersection and medical college intersection.
• Normal traffic will not be able to go towards Haiderganj Flyover from Mill Area intersection, instead this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Meena Bakery intersection.
• In addition to the diversion routes, in the event of a medical emergency, in the absence of an alternative route, ambulances, fire services, school vehicles will be permitted to travel on restricted route.
