As per reports, the three main candidates contesting the Bahia gubernatorial election are scheduled to conduct campaign activities in Salvador on Monday (24 August), the eighth day of the electoral campaign.

• Antônio Carlos Magalhães (ACM Neto) of União Brasil is scheduled to hold meetings with his political coordination team, candidates and regional leaders before participating in a campaign walk in Fazenda Coutos and Paripe at 1600 hours local time (1900 hours UTC).
• Jerônimo Rodrigues of Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT) is scheduled to conduct meetings with his campaign team and record content for his election programme in Salvador.
• Ronaldo Mansur of Partido Socialismo e Liberdade (PSOL) is scheduled to record a television segment at 0900 hours local time (1200 hours UTC), participate in an interview on TV Record at 1330 hours local time (1630 hours UTC), and attend an interview on Rádio Educadora FM at 1800 hours local time (2100 hours UTC).
