As per reports, Greece is expected to experience persistently high temperatures from Monday (24 August), with temperatures forecast to reach 39 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius and locally 42 degrees Celsius in parts of Thessaly, eastern Central Greece, the eastern Peloponnese, and Central Macedonia.

• Reports indicate that temperatures on Monday (24 August) are expected to reach 37 degrees Celsius and 38 degrees Celsius in mainland areas and locally 39 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius, while eastern island areas may reach 38 degrees Celsius.
• Temperatures are expected to peak on Tuesday (25 August) and Wednesday (26 August), with maximum temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius in some lowland and urban areas.
• Reportedly, temperatures are expected to remain elevated through 03 September, with maximum temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius and 37 degrees Celsius expected in parts of the country.
