As per reports, three individuals have been arrested near the Sector 43 ISBT bus stand in Chandigarh in connection with the recovery of a suspected improvised explosive device (IED), weapons and other associated items on Sunday (23 August).

An initial investigation has indicated a possible plan to conduct a terrorist attack in Chandigarh. However, the investigation is ongoing.
