As per reports, a temporary road closure set to last up to two weeks while essential gas main replacement works are carried out is announced on County Durham road from Monday (24 August).

• The closure is expected to affect Park View Rear in Chester-le-Street from 0800 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) on Monday (24 August).
• The order prohibits all vehicles from using a 34-metre section to the rear of numbers 17 to 20 Park View. It also covers a 19-metre section between numbers 18 and 19 Park View.
• Work is expected to last for two weeks, with an estimated end date of 07 September.
• A diversion is expected to be available. Drivers can travel to the side of number one Park View or use Glenavon Road.
