As per reports, thick haze reduced visibility to approximately 1–2 metres along Jl. A Yani in Pandahan, Tanah Laut, toward Lianganggang, Banjarbaru, on Wednesday (19 August). The haze intensified from approximately 0630 hours (local time) and remained severe around 0900 hours (local time).

Queues extended approximately 2 km from the Tanah Laut border toward Pandahan and 3 km toward Banjarbaru, reaching the Lianganggang Roundabout.
