As per reports, several schools in Nagpur as well as Nagpur District Court received bomb threats via official emails, warnings of explosion on Tuesday (18 August) morning.

• The schools that received bomb threats include Center Point’s Bhandewadi, Sadar School and Kendriya Vidyalaya’s schools in Ajni, Katol and Vayusena Nagar.
• After being notified, teams of concerned police stations along with bomb search and disposal teams entered school and court premises to conduct thorough search. All premises were evacuated and investigations were initiated.
• Currently, no suspicious or explosive objects have been confirmed, however, local authorities are to maintain heightened vigilance until relevant investigations conclude.
• The cyber branch has started investigating the IP address that sent the email and is attempting to determine where the email came from and who sent it.
