The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued the following Forecast and Nowcast warnings for Nagaland on Tuesday (18 August), as per the District-wise forecast PDF document issued on Monday (17 August).

• Forecast: A yellow alert for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and heavy rainfall at isolated places has been issued for Kohima, while a yellow alert for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning at isolated places has been issued for Peren, Dimapur, Wokha, Zunheboto, Mokokchung, Longleng, Mon and Tuensang.
• Forecast: No warning has been issued for Phek and Kiphire.
• Nowcast: No warning has been issued. The update is valid until 1000 hours (local time) on Tuesday (18 August).
