As per reports, a fire at a hotel on Empire Way near Wembley Stadium in Wembley, London, prompted a significant emergency response on Friday (14 August).

• The London Fire Brigade (LFB) received the first of 29 emergency calls at 1234 hours local time (1134 hours UTC). Six fire engines and approximately 40 firefighters from Park Royal, Willesden, Northolt and surrounding fire stations were deployed to the scene.
• Firefighters brought the fire under control by 1321 hours local time (1221 hours UTC). Smoke remained visible in the Wembley area following the incident.
• The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and no information regarding casualties has been reported.
