The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued the following Forecast and Nowcast warnings for Kerala on Saturday (08 August), as per the District-Level Weather Forecast issued at 2100 hours (local time) on Friday (07 August).

• Forecast: An orange alert has been issued for isolated heavy rainfall for Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragode on Saturday (08 August).
• Forecast: A yellow alert has been issued for isolated heavy rainfall for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram on Saturday (08 August).
• Nowcast: A yellow alert has been issued for moderate rainfall and surface winds of 30 kilometres per hour for Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragode, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram, valid till 0400 hours (local time) on Saturday (08 August).
