Governor General scheduled to visit Duck Lake for 150th anniversary commemorations on 23 August

As per reports, Governor General of Canada Louise Arbour is scheduled to visit Fort Carlton Provincial Historical Park in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan, on 23 August to participate in the 150th anniversary commemoration of the signing of Treaty No. 06.

The event, co-hosted by Pêmiska Tourism and the Office of the Treaty Commissioner, is scheduled to commence at 1430 hours local time (2030 hours UTC) on 23 August, during which the Governor General is expected to deliver official remarks.
