As per official statements, the Board of Peace, along with mediating countries including Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye and the US, announced on Friday (31 July) that Hamas has agreed to a detailed roadmap for implementing the next phases of the Gaza ceasefire, including a phased process for relinquishing its weapons.

As of the early hours of Friday (31 July), reports suggest that Hamas has not issued a direct, formal public statement confirming its acceptance of the Board of Peace agreement, but Palestinian diplomatic sources and regional mediators report significant movement toward consensus.

• Reports indicate that the roadmap concludes months of negotiations aimed at implementing governance, security, humanitarian relief, reconstruction and economic recovery measures in Gaza, as outlined in the Comprehensive Peace Plan and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803.
• Reports indicate that, under the announced roadmap, the phased disarmament of Hamas is expected to be followed by the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and the gradual transfer of governance responsibilities to the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG), supported by the International Stabilization Force (ISF).
• Reports indicate that the Board of Peace stated that implementation of the roadmap remains the next priority and that the agreement is intended to support long-term governance, humanitarian assistance, security and reconstruction efforts in Gaza.
