As per reports, the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has announced the arrival of the first consignment of ballot papers for the 2026 General Election at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka on Wednesday (29 July) at 0900 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) via a chartered aircraft.

Verification of the ballot papers with stakeholders is scheduled to commence on Saturday (01 August) at 0900 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) at the ECZ Silverest Warehouse.
