As per reports, Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport in Pekanbaru, Riau Province, temporarily changed its operating hours in order to carry out runway soil strength testing.

• General Manager of SSK II Pekanbaru International Airport, Achmad, apologized for the inconvenience caused in Pekanbaru on Monday (27 July).
• The change in airport operating hours, he continued, will take effect from Tuesday (28 July) until Tuesday (11 August).
• The airport will strictly operate from 0600 hours (local time) to 1500 hours (local time).
