As per Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA), a magnitude 5.6 earthquake was recorded approximately 35.8 kilometers east-southeast of New Taipei City Hall at 2036 hours (local time) on Sunday (26 July).

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 95.7 kilometers.
