Traffic restrictions scheduled at 10th km of Trakia motorway in Sofia-bound lane on Thursday (23 July)

As per reports, the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) has announced temporary traffic changes at the 10th kilometre of the A1 Trakia motorway in the Sofia-bound carriageway on Thursday (23 July) due to emergency road repairs.

• Emergency maintenance crews are scheduled to execute asphalt pavement and road surface repairs in the lane heading toward Sofia at the 10th kilometre mark throughout Thursday (23 July).
• Traffic in the Sofia-bound carriageway will be restricted in stages, with vehicles diverted into open active lanes or adjacent lanes to allow repair equipment to operate safely.
• Speed limits through the work zone at the 10th kilometre are expected to be reduced to 50 to 70 kilometres per hour, accompanied by temporary traffic signage and safety barriers.
• The affected areas include the 10th kilometre of the A1 Trakia motorway near Elin Pelin and Ravno Pole in Sofia Province, along the primary Sofia-bound transport corridor.
