• The closures have been implemented to facilitate bridge launching works for a new pedestrian and cycling link across the Pan Island Expressway (PIE).
• The CTE Exit 8A towards the PIE in the direction of Tuas will be temporarily closed, while CTE Exit 8B towards Upper Serangoon Road will also be closed to all vehicular traffic during the scheduled restriction period.
• The CTE (City) Exit 8A slip road towards the PIE (Tuas) will be closed from Tuesday to Friday (28-31 July) from 0000 to 0500 hours (local time). Motorists travelling on the city-bound CTE and intending to access the PIE (Tuas) should use CTE (City) Exit 7C via Moulmein Road and Thomson Road.
• The URA announced that traffic diversion signs and barricades will be installed to guide motorists during the closure.
