As per reports, the Little Fire near Little Valley Road and Hubbard Lane in Sunol, Alameda County, expanded to approximately 950 acres and was 10 percent contained as of 1845 hours local time (0145 hours UTC on 22 July) on Tuesday (21 July). Authorities stated that one firefighter sustained injuries while responding to the incident.

• Reports indicate that evacuation orders have been issued for Zones PLS-079, PLS-080, PLS-081, PLS-082 and PLS-103, affecting the Ruby Hill neighbourhood and residential areas along Vineyard Avenue in Pleasanton.
• Reports further indicate that an evacuation centre has been established at the Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Boulevard, Pleasanton, for affected residents. Firefighting operations involving three air tankers, three helicopters, dozers and hand crews remain ongoing.
