According to reports, President Prabowo Subianto will inaugurate prospective junior officers (capaja) on Wednesday (22 July). The officers are to be chosen from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) during an officer induction ceremony (praspa) at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.

Traffic leading to the palace will be temporarily diverted. Following are details:

• Traffic toward Jalan Veteran 3 was temporarily diverted on Wednesday morning (22 July). Police officers were seen standing guard at the location. Orange road barriers were also seen installed to block off the road. Traffic flow around Jalan Djuanda and Jalan Veteran Raya was smooth and busy.
• Traffic at the East Monas intersection has also been temporarily diverted. Vehicles heading from Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur to Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara have been diverted to Jalan Perwira.
• Previously, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi stated that the inauguration of the candidates was scheduled for this morning, starting 0800 hours WIB.
