As per reports, Highbury Grove in the London Borough of Islington is scheduled to close between Aberdeen Lane and Baalbec Road from 0800 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) on Monday (20 July) until 1800 hours local time (1700 hours UTC) on 02 November to facilitate Thames Water water main replacement works.
• The closure is scheduled to affect Transport for London bus routes 04, 19, 236, 263 and N19 for more than three months.
• Route 04 services are scheduled to operate via Holloway Road, with buses towards Archway using alternative stops at Upper Street Highbury Corner or Holloway Road Nags Head, while services towards Blackfriars are scheduled to operate via Highbury Hill, Highbury Park, Blackstock Road, Rock Street, St Thomas Road, Seven Sisters Road, Isledon Road, Tollington Road and Holloway Road.
• Routes 19 and N19 are scheduled to operate via Rock Street, Seven Sisters Road, Isledon Road, Tollington Road and Holloway Road, with services towards Battersea Bridge and Clapham Junction using alternative stops at Finsbury Park Bus Station or Upper Street Laycock Street, while services towards Finsbury Park are scheduled to operate via Holloway Road and Seven Sisters Road.
• Route 236 services towards Hackney Wick are scheduled to use alternative stops at Blackstock Road City and Islington College or Beresford Road, while services towards Finsbury Park are scheduled to divert via Brownswood Road, Green Lanes, Highbury Quadrant and Highbury New Park.
• Route 263 is scheduled to terminate at Holloway Nags Head towards Highbury Barn, while services towards Barnet Church are scheduled to commence from Holloway Road Tufnell Park Road.
