As per reports, temporary public movement restrictions are in place at Grote Markt in Groningen due to construction activities for the Red Bull District Ride event, with measures expected to remain until Saturday (25 July).

• Temporary fencing, construction equipment and event infrastructure have been installed across large sections of the square, limiting pedestrian movement in the area.
• Construction crews are developing a purpose-built mountain bike slopestyle course featuring three event zones, including a 14-metre-high start drop near the roof of catering establishment Werkman.
• Official training sessions are scheduled for Friday (24 July) from 1700 hours local time (1500 hours UTC) to 1900 hours local time (1700 hours UTC), followed by qualifiers and finals on Saturday (25 July) from 1600 hours local time (1400 hours UTC).
