As per reports, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) held its protest at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, demanding action over the alleged NEET-UG examination paper leak and the resignation of the Union Education Minister.

The following are updates as of Sunday (19 July):

• Azad Samaj Party (Kanshiram) president and MP Chandrashekhar Azad joined the protestors at Jantar Mantar in the early hours of Sunday (19 July) morning to express solidarity following the removal of climate and social activist Sonam Wangchuk by the Delhi Police.
• Abhijeet Dipke, Founding President of the Cockroach Janta Party, confirmed on Sunday (19 July) that the “Sansad Chalo” (March to Parliament) protest would proceed as scheduled on Monday (20 July).
• As per reports, the police announced that more than 100 personnel and Rapid Action Force units have already been deployed around Jantar Mantar, with around 200 personnel expected to remain on duty.
