The China Meteorological Administration (CMA) issued a level III yellow rainstorm warning at 1617 hours (local time) for Daozhen county on Friday (17 July).

CMA has also forecast rainfall for the next six hours in the following townships:

• Sanqiao, Yangxi, Daqian, Luolong, and Sanjiang with the likelihood of exceeding the 50 millimetres (mm) mark in the next six hours
