According to the Philippines Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), a 6.5 magnitude earthquake occurred near Davao Occidental, Philippines at 2349 hours (local time) on Tuesday (14 July).

The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers.
