As per reports, isolated thunderstorms are expected across northeastern regions including Lower Austria and Upper Austria, on Monday (14 July), with limited activity along the main Alpine ridge and southern provinces such as Tyrol and Carinthia.
• Reports indicate that light to moderate northerly winds are reported during the day, with temperatures ranging between 28 and 34 degrees Celsius across lowland and urban areas including Vienna and Linz.
• On Tuesday (15 July), cloud build-up and isolated rainfall are expected initially across western provinces, including Vorarlberg and Tyrol. Thunderstorm activity is reported to intensify during afternoon hours across mountainous regions and southern provinces, including Salzburg and Styria, with possible spillover into lowland and hilly areas such as Burgenland and Upper Austria.
• Severe thunderstorms may bring short-duration heavy rainfall, hail, and strong wind gusts, with temperatures ranging between 25 and 33 degrees Celsius.
