The China Meteorological Administration (CMA) has issued geological disaster meteorological risk warnings for parts of China on Monday (13 July).

• A yellow alert for geological disasters has been issued for parts of Beijing Municipality, Tianjin Municipality, Hebei Province, Liaoning Province, Jilin Province, Zhejiang Province, Anhui Province, Fujian Province and Jiangxi Province.
• An orange alert has been issued for parts of Hebei Province, Liaoning Province, Zhejiang Province and Anhui Province, where the meteorological risk of geological disasters is expected to be high.
• A red alert has been issued for parts of Liaoning Province and Anhui Province, where the meteorological risk of geological disasters is expected to be very high.
• Authorities have advised governments and relevant agencies to implement geological disaster prevention measures in accordance with emergency response plans. Residents in red and orange alert areas, particularly those living near slopes, cliffs, gullies and watercourses, have been advised to evacuate to nearby safe locations as directed by local authorities. Residents in yellow alert areas have been advised to monitor warning updates and avoid high-risk locations.
