As per reports, the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMET) issued a weather advisory forecasting reduced visibility due to mist and fog, along with thunderstorms and rainfall across parts of Ghana on Friday (10 July).
• Reports indicate that mist or fog is expected over the coastal, forest and mountainous areas, including parts of the Greater Accra Region, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Koforidua, Ho and Kumasi, during the early morning.
• Reports indicate that slight to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms are expected during the afternoon and evening across parts of the middle, transition and northern sectors, while sunny intervals are likely over other areas.
• Reportedly, GMET advised motorists to exercise caution due to reduced visibility during the early morning and urged the public to monitor official weather updates throughout the day. GMET also advised fishermen, small boat operators and other sea users to exercise caution, stating that rough sea conditions are expected to persist.
