As per reports, the funeral committee for former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei announced that the reception and funeral procession for him and his family members are scheduled to be held on Thursday (09 July) from Imam Reza Street towards the Razavi shrine in Mashhad.

Reports indicate the ceremony in Mashhad marks the final stage of a multi day funeral procession that included ceremonies in Tehran, Qom, Najaf, and Karbala.
