As per reports, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), more than 100 road construction projects and special events are scheduled between Sunday (05 July) and Saturday (11 July), resulting in lane reductions, road closures and traffic diversions across multiple counties in Michigan.
• Major impacts include resurfacing works on US 131 and US 12 in St. Joseph County, bridge maintenance and lane closures on I-94 and the I-94 Business Loop in Jackson County, resurfacing on US 127 in Isabella and Hillsdale counties, culvert replacement on M-54 in Genesee County and M-239 in Berrien County, and resurfacing works on M-67 (Alger County), M-123 (Luce County), M-64 (Gogebic County), M-95 (Marquette County) and US 2 (Iron County).
• Several projects are expected to continue through August, September or October, with lane reductions, intermittent ramp closures and detours in place.
