As per reports, a magnitude 3.9 earthquake occurred approximately 25 kilometres from Mughal Sarai, Uttar Pradesh at 0015 hours (local time) on Thursday (18 June).

The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 214 kilometres. The earthquake was not reported as felt at the time of reporting. There have been no immediate reports of casualties, injuries, infrastructure damage or transportation disruptions associated with the event.
