According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), a magnitude 3.0 earthquake was recorded at 1644 hours (local time) on Wednesday (17 June), approximately 85 kilometres west of Jantho, Aceh, Indonesia.
The earthquake occurred at coordinates 5.18 North, 94.84 East and was recorded at a depth of 19 kilometres below the surface. No tsunami warning has been issued in connection with the earthquake.
