As per reports, the State Hydrometeorological Service has forecast heavy rainfall with severe thunderstorms across Chisinau on Thursday (18 June) due to persistent regional atmospheric instability.

• Meteorological agencies indicate that a severe weather front is expected to bring localized rainfall, frequent lightning strikes, and transient thunderstorms over Chisinau on Thursday (18 June).
• The thunderstorm front is anticipated to be accompanied by strong wind gusts, accelerating up to approximately 27 kilometres per hour at certain intervals.
• Daytime temperatures during the peak of the storm activity are expected to range from 14 to 25 degrees Celsius across the central district.
