As per reports, the Panhellenic Federation of Employees’ Associations in EFKA (POSE-EFKA) announced a nationwide sectoral strike on Wednesday (17 June).

• A protest gathering is scheduled at 1100 hours local time (0800 hours UTC) at the Ministry of Labour in Athens. The strike action includes demands for immediate mass recruitment of permanent staff within EFKA.
• Workers are also raising concerns regarding the management and utilisation of e-EFKA real estate assets, calling for transparency and internal administration.
• Additional demands include strengthening resources of the public social security system, enhancing control services to counter contribution evasion, salary increases, reinstatement of the 13th and 14th salaries, and higher tax-free income thresholds.
